These terms govern your use of zontalabs.com, the website. They are short because the site is simple: it describes what we are building and gives you ways to reach us.
They do not govern a product. There is no product or service offered through this site yet. When there is, it will come with its own agreement.
Acceptance
By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The site is operated by Zonta Labs, Inc. "We" and "us" mean Zonta Labs, Inc. "You" means anyone using the site.
Our privacy policy explains what the site collects and is part of these terms.
What this site is
This site is informational. It describes work in progress at an early stage. Nothing on it is an offer to sell a product or service, and no product or service is provided through it.
Statements about what we are building describe intent, not shipped capability. They may change without notice as the work changes.
Nothing on the site is legal, security, compliance, or other professional advice. Decisions about your own systems are yours to make, with your own advisers.
Intellectual property
The site and its contents, including text, design, graphics, code, and the Zonta Labs name and marks, belong to Zonta Labs, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You may read the site, link to it, and quote short passages with attribution. You may not copy, republish, or redistribute substantial parts of it, or use our name or marks to suggest an association, without written permission.
Anything you send us through the site, such as a message or a demo request, stays yours. You give us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it, which is to reply to you and to understand what you need.
Acceptable use
Use the site as a person would. Do not do the following.
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site or its forms beyond what ordinary search indexing does.
- Submit forms automatically, in volume, or with false information, or use them to send us unsolicited commercial messages.
- Attempt to probe, bypass, or break the site's security, rate limits, or the systems it runs on.
- Interfere with anyone else's use of the site.
- Use the site for anything unlawful.
Forms and messages
Sending us a form creates no obligation on us. We aim to answer messages and demo requests, but we may not, and a reply does not commit us to anything beyond what it says.
The newsletter is sent only to addresses that asked for it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by writing to us.
Do not send us confidential information through the site. If you have something sensitive to share, ask us first and we will agree a way to receive it.
Third-party links and services
The site may link to sites we do not run. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
The site relies on third-party providers, such as hosting and email delivery. Their availability is outside our control.
No warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. That includes any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not promise that the site will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or free of errors or harmful components. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of it at any time without notice.

To the same extent, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us to use it. As of the effective date, that is nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law and disputes

For a material change we will note it on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means the revised terms apply to you.
