EARLY-STAGE / BUILDING NOW

Zonta Labs is building the robotics deployment layer.

We design drones and software to close the loop between robots, AI models and the physical world, so each real-world run can improve the next.

Zonta Labs Inc. is an early-stage company of three co-founders.

About

  1. Mission

Make robot training and deployment one continuous loop, without an engineer stepping in by hand after every failure.

  2. The problem

Robot learning still has a person in the loop. Between one run and the next, someone has to work out what failed before the system can be retrained and the robot sent back out.

That makes deployment slow, expensive and hard to scale across real environments that keep changing. AI agents could help, but they lack the physical context to understand what happened in the real world and improve the next run on their own.

  3. What we build

A real-time perception and interpretation layer for robot deployment. Our drones are designed to observe the environment, reconstruct what is happening around the robot in 3D, and give frontier AI agents the physical context they need to understand actions, outcomes and failures. That feedback can then adapt policies, update simulations and generate new training scenarios for the next run.

We are building it as a product, drones plus software, for robotics teams to run with their own robots. We do not deploy robots as a service.

Most of it is in development. The technology page lists what works today and what we are still building.

  4. Vision

We want each deployment to leave the robot better than the last. In the end state, robots see the results of their own actions, work out why they failed, improve their training and redeploy, and the physical world becomes a continuous learning loop.

We are working toward it through Recursive Self-Improvement Reinforcement Learning, RSI RL for short.
